Lights Up recognise the difficulties performers and creatives are facing. This is why we have partnered with Equity UK to play our part in drawing attention to the immediate needs of the Equity Benevolent Fund. We are delighted to have facilitated a fundraising campaign – hopefully one of many more in the community that recognise the importance of supporting grass roots performances and audience diversity.
When we emerge from Covid and theatres are open again so we can continue to distribute tickets to deserving audience members, we will be relying on Equity’s membership and supporters to bring back more smiles, tunes and memories.
